Over 80 Years of History

In the early 1940s, Mr. José Marangoni founded a small electrical equipment repair shop in the city of Mogi Mirim, in the countryside of São Paulo state. The region was predominantly agricultural and remains world-renowned today for the high quality of its coffee, exported to every corner of the globe.

During this period, due to World War II, Brazil faced significant challenges in importing power transformers. These units were critically needed as the country was undergoing a major expansion of its electrical transmission infrastructure.

In response to these circumstances, Mr. José Marangoni leveraged his expertise in electronic components and metallurgy to begin manufacturing transformers within his own shop. What started as a small workshop rapidly evolved into a full-scale production line, growing into a major industrial powerhouse in the following years.

The product line gradually expanded, leading to new ventures, partnerships, and strategic stakes. As a result, Marangoni established operations in Bogotá, Colombia (serving the Andean region in South America), and in Zagreb, Croatia (its European unit).

Today, Marangoni operates an extensive industrial park in Brazil, featuring in-house services for metallurgy, galvanization, equipment assembly, and R&D.
Renowned for its integrity and commitment, Marangoni has developed strategic business partnerships with industry leaders such as ABB, Siemens, and Gonvarri. This includes a successful joint venture with Germany's Meiser for steel grating production and, most recently, the launch of the manufacturing plant for power transformer heat exchange systems in Indianapolis, USA.

Beyond offering efficient, high-performance, and durable products, Marangoni-Meiser prioritizes quality relationships and a deep commitment to our customers' results—a core value that spans generations and fosters healthy, consolidated management.
